Trophy Club Fence Permits
In this affluent northern suburb, you’ll need to pay $85 for a fencing permit, which will allow you to build a fence up to 8 feet tall.
Fences may be built with brick, stone, wrought iron or wood. If you want to use masonry, concrete, vinyl or similar materials, you’ll need approval from the planning and zoning coordinator.
You can’t build with broken glass, nails, screws, or wire — anything that could protrude from the fence and cause injury from climbing on it is a no-go.
Further restrictions include no fences in drainage areas, fences must face smooth sides toward the public, and each fence must allow one gate for emergency access.

When they moved in, they didn’t realize the neighbor had such an intimidating breed of dog. Buzz came to the rescue and designed a fence that could provide privacy and security for both sides. Today, the client’s kids can play outside without fear and they don’t have to hear constant barking. For the neighbor, the pit bull received a fence that cannot be jumped or dug under.
