Richardson Fence Permits
In this affluent inner Dallas suburb, perimeter fences can be built up to 8 feet tall, and front-yard fences can be built up to 3 feet as long as they are decorative, do not create traffic hazards, and are approved by the building official.
A permit is required to construct fencing in Richardson. The application fee is $30.
Permitted materials consist of wood, vinyl, masonry, wrought iron or chain link. Additionally, fence gates can’t swing out into alley easement.

Good product (Alumi-Guard fence), excellent up-front service, good installation. Only hiccup was did not communicate that the install date had moved back a few days (waiting on the custom fence to come in).
