Garland Fence Permits
This Dallas suburb calls on residents to submit a $50 permit for new and replacement fencing.
You can build your fences up to 8 feet tall, except for in the front yard. This fence has a maximum height of 3.5 feet, and very specific instructions. It must be wood or wrought iron, constructed with 4 inches of vertical space per foot and 1 foot of horizontal space. Front-yard fences made of brick can only be 2.5 feet tall.
Additionally, you must install what the city calls a “visibility clip” for solid fencing on corner lots.
Also, check with your subdivision — it may have specific material requirements.

Michael was great in his selling. He was not pushy but very thorough. He was kind and professional. He could not have done a better job! The two men who installed the fence were GREAT! We have the most attractive fence in the neighborhood!
Fence is Awesome but service are poor

Fence is fantastic , the materials are great and 2days of labor is pretty fast, but in the other side, they were in the hurry to finish it so didn't get all the job done. First : lots of nails in the driveway ( Even i told them ahead of time and the actual day that they need to clean it ) due to possible flat tires, nails is still present, they don't have the magnet to clean it off, actually they don't have nothing, even a Swiffer, workers are just kicking it off in the side instead of picking it up, ( I SAW IT PERSONALLY ). second : the Door, it was nice and neat, but there is a gap in the buttom even the door was completely shut, my dog can crawl outside, of course i call them back to report, but until now i still haven't heard anything back, they kept on saying, they will forward this issue to the manager. third : i pay a tons of $$$$ and still asked me to pay the extra charge bec they dig? $10/holes, so i have 11 holes, so another $110 charge? that's super ridiculous? they said its on the contract, but who would actually read that in the buttom? besides they didn't even remind you about that, they just send the contract thru email, then you just have to signed it, that's it. extra charge will be in yours. they collected my payment instantly , less than 5mins but the service are terrible. i understand they are busy, well at least get back to you when u call or txt, oh yeah i call and txt the manager who is assigned to me since sat and today is tue, still haven't heard anything back or not bothering to call back or just a simple txt that he will get back on me.
