Buzz has expanded our custom fencing and gate services to the greater Waco area, including all of McLennan County. We look forward to serving residents and businesses in central Texas with quality fence materials, gate installation and repair. Browse our project galleries and realize that whether you need security, safety for pets and kids, privacy or curb appeal, Buzz can deliver.
Maybe your fence is still standing tall, but Waco’s humid mornings, scorching afternoons and occasional tornadoes have taken their toll. At Buzz, our fence experts would be happy to stop by to assess your fence’s future. We’ll consider your fence’s condition, starting with its material. Has your wood fence rotted? Is your vinyl fence torn? Depending on the severity of damage, we’ll advise you whether a repair is justified, or if we recommend a complete rebuild. If the cost of repairs is close to the cost of a new fence, it makes sense to build anew. We’ll help you work within your budget to determine your best option.
If you’ve added new features to your home or business, such as a swimming pool or yard upgrades, you might need a more secure fence. Whatever you decide, your repaired or rebuilt fence will quickly improve the look of your home and add value to your property. At Buzz, we stand by our work. If we build you a new fence, our warranty covers fence materials and even the labor in case of future problems.
Our fence experts are gate experts, too. Meet with a member of our passionate design team and they’ll work with your needs and lifestyle to craft the perfect gate for your home or business. Whether you need a drive gate or a walkway gate, we’ll help you choose from traditional gate materials, including wood, iron, vinyl and aluminum. You might decide to match your fence’s material or go for a contrast. We can also help you choose wrought iron finials, spires or glass decorations to further customize your gate. At Buzz, we pride ourselves in balancing durable, practical materials with aesthetic values.
If we’re installing a driveway gate, we’ll discuss swinging versus sliding gates and the pros and cons of solar-powered openers. Our experts can answer all your questions and find the right solution for your individual situation.
Waco Fence Permits
For Waco, you do not need a permit to build a residential fence as long as you stay within property lines and meet a few other regulations.
- Your residential fence can rise up to a maximum of 6 feet, but it must be built with the city traffic code in mind. For instance, corner lot fences need to be shorter to allow for driver visibility.
- Fences also must abide by the required front and rear setbacks, and they cannot be built in landscaped areas.
- Barbed-wire fences are generally not permitted, unless you’re using it along the top of a fence that is at least 5 feet tall or your property is more than an acre in size.
