Granbury Fence Permits
This small, rural town southwest of Fort Worth allows residents to permit front-yard fences up to 4 feet and other fences up to 8 feet. The cost to apply is $10.
No fence can be built within easements or the visibility triangle, and no electric fences are allowed.
To change a fence in the historical districts, you’ll need a Certificate of Appropriateness.
Additionally, all masonry columns should be equally finished on both sides.

Project You’re Really Proud Of? A one of a kind, custom fence design for a client living on the edge! With a view of Lake Granbury, it was important to install a secure barrier that could protect livestock and withstand wind driven rain and erosion. Made out of galvanized steel with a no-climb cattle wire fence, this ranch owner’s fence will last for decades. For the front of the fence, gray aluminum was installed with a walk gate.
