The Colony Fence Permits

The maximum fence height in the front yard is 4 feet; the maximum elsewhere is 8 feet 6 inches.
The city is serious about visibility triangle guidelines, so be sure to study up on the requirements depending on your home’s location.
Your alley or utility-easement fence must accommodate at least one gate that’s 3 feet wide.
You may use stone, masonry, brick, wood, vinyl, chain link, wrought iron or similar to build your fence. The city prohibits plywood, corrugated steel, tarping material or fiberglass panels.
