Benbrook Fence Permits
This Fort Worth suburb allows for front-yard fences up to 2.5 feet and other fencing up to 8 feet (exception: up to 12 feet if you’re backing a sports area like a basketball court).
You need a permit to start construction on front-yard fences over 30 inches, or any fence over 6 feet tall. The cost of the permit is based on the value of the work, starting at $23.50.
Front-yard and side-yard fences are strictly zoned, and those that are approved must face rigorous visibility triangle requirements.
Restrictions include no fence attachments protruding over property lines, no electric fences, razor, or permanent barbed-wire fences. No plywood, corrugated steel or fiberglass panels.

Why Do You Enjoy What You Do?
My favorite memory was learning how automatic gates work. During my first week, I worked with Buzz’s access control crew to learn all the intricacies of gate automation for commercial and residential clients.
Project You’re Really Proud Of?
I am most proud of the work Buzz completed for the Weatherford Police Station. They needed a system that could open and close in under 10 seconds for a quick response time and perimeter security. It required us to do some research and to find the right product. Buzz then designed and installed a very complicated access control system. In addition, the gates can automatically open and close based on the frequency of the sirens and lights of the department’s fleet. An elaborate system that works perfectly and serves the needs of the Weatherford community.
