Buzz Custom Fence provides a range of services in the Allen area. We specialize in fence construction, fence repair, and gate installation—and we’ve earned a reputation over the years for excellence. We use only the best materials and work with only the most reputable contractors. That’s how we guarantee a gorgeous final product!
Between the annual USA celebration, the more than a thousand acres of parks and nature trails, and even the nearby Courses at Watters Creek, Allen is a city designed with outdoor activity and natural beauty in mind. It can be tricky, then, to build fences or gates around your land that actually increase curb appeal instead of “spoiling the view.” Fortunately, at Buzz, we’re experts at creating custom solutions for all of your fencing needs. A quick perusal of our project galleries will show you the kinds of work that we can do for you. Call us today if you see something that you like—or, alternatively, call us today to help us realize your vision of something entirely unique!
Allen Fence Permits
In this affluent northern Dallas suburb, a permit ($25) must be obtained to build your fence.
Backyard fences can rise to 8 feet, but you’ll only be able to build a front-yard fence if it’s part of an unenclosed front porch or uncovered patio, and then only to a height of 3 feet.
Brick, wood and wrought iron are the only acceptable fence materials. All fencing requires metal hardware. Posts must be placed in 18-inch-deep concrete. Any other materials have to be approved by the city.
Fences aren’t permissible in floodplain areas or drainage easements (exception: unless fence is 3 inches above ground to allow for drainage). And fences can’t obstruct visibility in an alley, street or intersection.
