There are several rules in this family-centric suburb with a proud historic history.

The city restricts materials to masonry, wood and vinyl that are aesthetically consistent with existing buildings. Downtown masonry must keep with downtown architecture: rock, brick, wood or wrought iron. No chain link.
If your home is backing up to a major street, the city requires masonry screening walls.
Other requirements include keeping fences back 15 feet from an intersection for visibility.

Project You’re Really Proud Of?The Splash Kingdom Water Park in Aledo, TX has to be at the top of my list. It was very large in scale and contained a mixture of various fence materials and styles. There were split rail cedar railings, pipe railing and decorative inserts, black vinyl-coated chain link fence and decorative iron gates. The only negative is that Buzz fence is so busy it takes a while to get the job done, but, I guess, that's a good thing. There was an issue that one of the gates got installed backwards, but Hoyte took care of that promptly once notified of the issue.
