Benbrook Fence Permits
This Fort Worth suburb allows for front-yard fences up to 2.5 feet and other fencing up to 8 feet (exception: up to 12 feet if you’re backing a sports area like a basketball court). You need a permit to start construction on front-yard fences over 30 inches, or any fence over 6 feet tall. The cost of the permit is based on the value of the work, starting at $23.50.
Front-yard and side-yard fences are strictly zoned, and those that are approved must face rigorous visibility triangle requirements. Restrictions include no fence attachments protruding over property lines, no electric fences, razor, or permanent barbed-wire fences. No plywood, corrugated steel or fiberglass panels.
