Mansfield Fence Permits
You’ll need to get a permit for any fence over 6 feet tall in this affluent suburb. The application costs $25.
Maximum fence height is 8 feet, and the city has extensive rules for post footings, slats and stringers depending on fence height. All planks must be at least ⅝-inch thick.
All fences need at least a 1-inch gap between the plank and the ground for drainage purposes.
